Sometime back I was going through a turmoil in my personal life. There was tremendous stress. Combined with the trauma I had been through, all of it was getting too much to bear. No matter what I tried and how much I tried to disentangle and smoothen out the issues, nothing was easing out things, it was getting messier .All of this started affecting me physically. Being a doctor I could see the emotional disturbances and the trauma physicalizing in my body. I developed hypertension though I had no prior history of any BP issues, I had palpitations almost all through the day. At night I was unable to sleep, kept thinking of the past events, going through the same train of thoughts over and over again as to what went wrong, who did what, who was to blame and so on.Work made the daytime easier, my routine at the medical college & academic engagements was some respite. But the moment I was off from work, same negative thoughts and emotions started coming in, and palpitations grew. At night, I cried a lot, cursed myself & others for how things got so bad, and found faults with people around me. This almost became like a cycle which I was not able to break. My life was falling apart and many times I felt like leaving everything, quitting & going somewhere …
During this period I met Sandhya and came to know about Pranic Healing and wanted to give it a try. Spoke to Sandhya at length, she patiently listened to all that I had to share. She took time to listen and understand my issues. Then, she explained the process and carved out a complete program to address my critical situation. I was given personalised affirmation to begin my day and certain breathing exercises. I recorded the affirmations in my voice & played the affirmation during my commute to the college on the bus, it kept me motivated and in a positive state during the day.My sessions were scheduled late in the evening, to help with my sleep issues. In the beginning I would deliberately close my eyes trying to relax but the chaotic thoughts were a challenge to stop. I was suggested to tune into some relaxing music during sessions and it helped. After 3-4 sessions, negative thoughts started to fade off, mind relaxed and mostly by the session end I dozed off. My condition gradually began to improve, with every session sleep improved, I woke up better, stress levels came down, felt much calmer, palpitations reduced substantially and that was such a relief. I was advised to keep tabs on my blood pressure and pulse too. After 6-7 sessions, I noticed that my blood pressure also settled, palpitations reduced. My thoughts were troubling me much less.
I was also introduced to twin heart meditation. Twin heart meditation helped me get out of the guilt, made me calmer, less impulsive and forgiving of myself and others.
Sessions with Sandhya helped me a lot. The negativity which took over me reduced tremendously, palpitations were gone, blood pressure came back to normal. I am at peace with myself .I would say that in those 15-16 sessions with Sandhya,a shift happened in me, from being an impulsive, reactive and angry person, I was becoming a more accepting, reflective person who had a better understanding of her situations. I could let go of situations that I had no control over and that helped.
Counselling sessions also helped me get a better perspective of things and manage my emotions in a much better way.

I would say Pranic healing has worked for me and it has helped me immensely. Twin heart meditation has worked wonders for me.
